No matter where you are, no matter what is happening, your breath is a tool to change how your nervous system responds to any given situation. With practice, you can use breath to calm the nervous system, aid sleep, ease anxiety, increase focus and energy, shift attitudes & perceptions and help heal old emotional wounding & trauma.
A revived sense of self, vitality, contentment and connection to life are common side effects, and many also experience connection to their Higher Self, spirit guides, their Higher Power or other forms of guidance meaningful to them.
Emotionally and mentally, breath practices help unravel old patterns, beliefs, events and memories that have become barriers to living a fulfilling life. Imprints of the original experience are able to resolve and integrate toward wholeness
Physiologically, breath can shift nervous system states, bring greater access to calm and regulation, impact heart rate, blood pressure, circulation, movement of the digestive and lymphatic systems and improve oxidation of cells.
