Many people find that not all of their symptoms can be resolved through customary therapies but that doesn't mean they have to put up with them.
Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach that bridges between body, mind and experience. It focuses on physical sensations and internal bodily awareness to release stress, trauma, and emotional or belief patterns that are held in the body, often unconsciously.
Rather than rely solely on cognitive insight, somatic therapy works from the “bottom up,” supporting nervous system regulation and helping the body complete natural responses to stress, leading to improved emotional regulation, a greater sense of safety, and lasting psychological and physiological healing.
I help people heal and integrate unsettled aspects of the past - relationships, experiences and beliefs, whether consciously known or not. Together we work with the subtle systems of the body-mind toward greater nervous system regulation, embodiment, emotions management and overall sense of integrated wholeness.
